I hate my dream guitar

Jacob, this is not meant to be derogatory at you at all, and I read BP saying the hate word does not bother him but I think it would be nice to change it hate is such a strong word and so misused in todays world.

I can understand that you were disappointed in the JP, as much as I love EBMM the JP was not right for me either.

I have been on a magical carpet ride through the world of EBMM for the last two years.

I have owned every guitar model they make at some point in time, seeing what worked for me and what did not, as much as I would love to have a JP still it just was not for me, it is a superior guitar, I too could not come to grips with the neck profile, also not a 24 fret guy either.

My dream guitar was the Luke, the first EBMM I bought, still is, but Number 1A is the AL and 1b is the Axis Super Sport, just try them al if you can i promise one will amke you go ah yes this is it.

this happens. the thing is that one (me included) will consider something their dream guitar based on pictures or endorsements etc. Ive done this... the specs look right, it looks pretty to me, comes in a color I want etc.

but, then you play it and it doesn't fit. it doesnt mean it sucks it just means that its not your dream guitar - your dream guitar would have fit.

my first MM was supposed to be a stingray. i finally had enough $ to shop around and when i finally laid my hands on one the neck didn't suit me (ive got small hands). I picked up the sterling next to it and bam - it worked!

i guess the moral of the story is that the "dream guitar" is perfect both on paper and in your lap

Speaking of "hate," anyone remember Ugly Kid Joe's I Hate Everything About You?

I love the variety in the guitars I have and rotate them so each gets used. My favorite is the Luke but they are all loved. There was a decent article about this in Premier Guitar last month.

Definitely! I was playing along to this the other night on my new ASS and I couldn't believe how close I was able to get with the tone on that song with a default setting on my Spider Valve and the ASS. I put on the BurnBabyBurn preset and rocked the house to that song!
