I just bought another EBMM today!!!

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...MEWN:IT&viewitem=&item=120042112210&rd=1&rd=1

I just cant stop!!!!! :D :p ;)

I got this Morse because it appears to be pretty minty...and it has a floyd! and a matching headstock!!! got for quite a bit under what a new one would be!

the seller has a 72 hour return policy, so if it is not all he claims, i can always get a refund. Should be a pretty sweet guitar!!!

Ya know what? When I first got into EBMM, seriously. I would have agreed(I know, I know, I deserve a spanking for saying that). Now, that I've had a chance to sit down and play them. I've got to say the shape has really grown on me. I like them. I just haven't been able to pull the trigger on one. I just like the other models better.

Congrats, Brent. I know a lot of people like the original Morse. I'm not one of them, but congrats anyway. Love that Y2D, though.

How many new ones has he bought? That's where BP gets his gas money.

it is tought to buy new ones when i'm getting such great prices on these gently uesd ones.

i probably would buy new if i had a dealer that kept EBs on the floor, but no dealer in kalamazoo, MI stocks EBMM guitars! i'm not gonna drive to detroit, spend $60 in gas to "look" for something that i can get on ebay for hundreds less in almost mint condition.

i guess what it comes down to is that i need to open up a guitar store here in Paw Paw, MI that only sells EBMM guitars!!!:) it could be a big hit!!! i would easliy be the biggest EB dealer in MI!:)

In all seriousness, you out to think about it! It's obvious you love the hunt and doing the deal. + bonus points for being able to justify ALL the Balls you want!

Yeah. You wouldn't even need to have a large inventory to be the biggest EBMM guitar dealer in MI. If you carried any more than 3 different models at any one given time, you'd have the the best EBMM guitar selection in MI. I never see more than a JP, a couple of Axes and maybe an ASS. It would be impressive for a MI store to have any other model, I think. Actually, lately it's Axes or ASS. That's all the GCs near me seem to have these days.

I've seen one Morse, which kneeoh bought, at Motor City Guitars. I've seen a dinged "new" Luke at Elderly Instruments. I might have bought it if it weren't damaged. In both of those cases, those were the sole EBMM guitars in inventory at those stores.

I totally get what you're talking about with respect to driving a long way to "look" for something. After going out to Elderly and finding only a damaged Luke and a couple of basses, I'm not going to be doing that anymore. It's either EBay or Pete DuBaldo unless I travel somewhere for business or vacation and see something really cool--like my 20th.

I popped into my local EBMM stockist on Saturday.

They had a NOS Sport, blue/purple (not sure of the proper name) HH, matching H-stock, no pickguard for a fairly reasonable price. They also had a SUB, a SUB bass, two SR4's, and a SR5.

I had to be dragged out of the shop!!!
