My Ball is red!
Took advantage of a Guitar Center 20% off last weekend and bought a "used" Trans Red Axis sight unseen for a reasonable enough price. Not used as in second hand but used as in restocked, returned, whatever, but not blemished. I wondered if it had been returned because the top was crappy, because it was indeed blemished, or who knows what but took a chance anyway. I can get them for less on ebay but with GC I can return it if it so much as looks at me the wrong way, so I'm willing to pay more for that privilege.
Anyway, got this today. Fresh as a daisy and beautiful. I don't know what it is about transparent red guitars but they photo like crap. I once bought a Trans Red Jackson that was less impressive in person than I expected, this guitar is definitely more impressive than I expected and basically everything I had hoped for. About as good as can be expected buying sight-unseen from GC at any rate, I thank them for a fair deal and especially thank Ernie Ball for making such a good product that just about everything is nice.
