I fell in love with EBMM because of the LUKE. I played one in early 09 and new I had to have one. So I was able to pull together the scratch and get one. The neck on that guitar is second to none. But....

Then I was able to score a great deal on a Morse. And now I never touch the LUKE. Even though the neck is not quite as fast for my smaller sized hand, the sounds, combinations and versatility of that guitar is unbelievable. I don't want to put it down.

I've joined a blues project recently and I use it for single coil and humbucking tones. It's just killer with my pedal board setup and amp.

Is it wrong to betray the original guitar that brought me to this wonderful company and community?

Nothing wrong with liking a newer-to-you guitar better. You may find songs that you like the Luke better for. You do use a backup guitar, right? The Luke would make a great, no excuses backup should you break an e string.....

"Nothing to see here people, no problem. Move along."

it's all good brother, your still playing in the EBMM family, but you cheated on your first love with her cousin. As long as you're cool with that, you're all set.

we change, our taste are changing, I guess this what we call evolution, it can even be a revolution sometimes. In any case, this is just the nature of human being

When you need a big 80's rock sound you'll know right where to go. The Luke is pretty versatille too in its own right but I agree the Morse might have the edge for a blues gig. What do the band members say?

Remember that as magical as they may sometime sound, guitars are inanimate objects...they are not capable of emotions like jealousy or anger...
So you can sleep safely, your Luke won't stab you in the middle of the night!

Part of the reason I own ten guitars is because I like to mix it up a bit. Different guitars for different tunes. A Morse is pretty high up on my to get list so hearing how much you are digging it makes me want one even more. Don't betray the Luke though. It will be enraged at you. Share the love.
