I foolishly sold a '79 Stingray 6 years ago, and have regretted it ever since. I recently tried to re-acquire it (I sold it to a local bassist), but he wouldn't give it up (and I really can't blame him, it's a great bass). I decided to check out some new ones after reading so many great things about them here. When I first played the 30th, it felt and sounded so right I bought it on the spot. Soon after, I lucked into the 20th. I couldn't be happier!

the 20th has always beem a fav of mine. Will the 20th Sterling be similar?

I don't care what that one looks like - I'll be having at least one! I'm so excited... lets see if I can sustain this excitment for what, 6 more years? What are we on at the moment? 14 years of the Sterling? Any chance of a 15th anni model??? ;)

Nah 20th is cool - gives me time to pay off my debts and save up a fortune for new guitars, basses and rigs mwah ha haaaa

im a fan of the 20th. wish i played MMs 10 years ago so i coulda snagged one

I had just bought my 1st ray in 1997, from a GC. About a week later, I walk into the same store and see the 20th hanging up in the spot where my honeyburst had been. I remember being slightly bummed that I hadn't waited a week longer!
But I'm still lovin' the honey.
