Nick, didn't you say earlier this week that a couple of the basses in your sig are "surplus to requirements"? Trade those suckers on a Stingray or a Lakland, and you have the solution. Easy.

The surplus to requirements basses are the yamaha and rockbass(which has no neck, cuz the neck bent:( ).I wouldn't get more than about £200 for the yamaha, and virtually nothing for the rockbass. And as for selling everything but the jazz and getting a stingray, that's just bull****.

Now I know this is a radical approach, but hear me out. You could get a job, earn some money, and then buy a MusicMan. You'd be able to keep the basses your dad bought you and add to your collection.

Jazzbassman23, do you realize the Church will persecute you for this highly unorthodox thinking? Best to lock your doors, leave the pets outside, close the windows, and never see the light of day again lest you be burned at the stake! :p

I am too nervous to get a job.I'm a social outcast, and if people knew what was going through my head right now, they'd probably kill me................:(

What the hell is that supposed to mean?

I wish I could say but I'd get locked up..........

TO NICK2: Give us all a break here... With as many basses you've been showered in - Don't give us any s**t about your life. If somone took out a mortage to get you a new bass, then there can't be to much for you to complain about - unless, of course, you choose to be a spoiled little crybaby jackass. You little panzy-ass, cell phone carryin', spolied, Warwick playin', crybaby asshat (I stole the "asshat" from Jack ;) ).

TO ALL: These young kids today that whine and cry just make me want to vomit.

TO NICK2: Cry, cry, cry... Make a choice to do something positive and good with your life instead of trying to be another Kurt Cobain or Timothy McVeigh. Gheesh...

And I've not even got upset yet ;)

You know noithign about what was going on in my head, but luckily i think someone has got me back to thinking normally, but never ever call me a cry baby. You know jack **** about me and my life, what's happened to me.Sure, I have lots of basses.big whoop.

Very true. I know nothing about you or what's happened to you. However, I can say the same thing about you when it comes to me. Buy you know? It all comes down to a choice. What state of mind do you want to have. Also, it's proven that most people that are sad or depressed, etc. choose to be that way.

When I see our younger generation going that route - it makes me sick. So weak, so early.

Whatever....

Most people chosoe to be that way? I have been depressed so many times I won't let myself feel liek that again. But now I have no where to turn. But I think I have had my confidence restored.I got through my parents divorce and I only cried mebbe once.My grandad died, I cried once, and not for long.So don't call me weak.I have emotions, I just don't let htem get me down.

Let's all step back, take a deep breath and remember that we all have our little sob stories. The only difference is in how we choose to deal with them.

It's never too late to have a happy childhood.
