Carbon Blue Pearl, Maple Fretboard, Matching Headstock, HH Configuration.

The wait is killing me already...

Also, does anyone know if BFR Sterlings are able to be ordered yet? I forgot to ask, but Big Poppa had said in a post that they're going to be available. I figure I might as well scoop one of those up too if possible.

I've told myself this is going to be my next bass. No purchases in between. Unless a good Sterling HH goes on sale. I hope I can keep my word.

AFAIK, the redwood BFR Stingrays are the only BFR basses that were available for order and that was a "have to order it at NAMM" deal, so I woud guess that the BFR Sterlings (since the only one we've seen is the one made for the desert bash) are not available for order.

Congrats on your Sterling 5 order...

Just found out the wait is 3 months. I'm happy overall, as I didn't expect it for 5 or so. So, looks like I'll be good towards the end of May or early June.

Ah, that's good. I didn't want these to all of a sudden disappear before I have the chance to get the scratch for one! :D

I ordered my trans orange matching headstock HH with pearl white pick guard in January, so it should be here by May 30th I was told. I can't WAIT! I know it sounds like a strange color, but I wanted something different.:D

I ordered mine yesterday as planned. Pacific blueburst/headstock,maple board, black guard. I normally don't get very excited about a bass, but this one is an exception. I was told that it will be the first off the line in that color combination. I am really pumped about this one! I'm predicting another home run for the EB team with the Sterling 5.How could it not be a hit? They always seem to get it right. Exellent work folks!

My original plan was to get a 4 string Sterling H in that color, but when the Sterling 5 came out, that was it. I have 3 Sterlings already, and the Sterling 5 will make a good mate for the SR5. I can't wait to get it!
