I have been a EBMM fan for a long time....but a recent experience with another "bass maker" that will remain nameless has reminded me of all that EBMM have to offer and the totally professional way they do what they do...and never forget to treat the customer like the customer. I have played bass and worked in music stores for nearly 30 years now. I have worked directly with EBMM from the retail side of the house and as a customer....as well as many other companys. I can honestly say.... there have been few experiences that can even remotley be mentioned in the same breath with EBMM. I appreciate the fact that they listen to the customer and most importantly...they are forward thinking and come up with solutions to things we experience as musicians before we even know it is a problem. This is no suck up or fan boy thread...just a well deserved big effin kudos to BP and his crew for the way they run their ship. Not all guitar manufactures are created equally....net even all the ones in California ;0)

Agreed. When I stepped into the EBMM realm it was with confidence that I would get full satisfaction with their products and support. They are actually better than I expected.

Thanks for the plug Scott...let make sure that the rest of us dont gang up on the competitors....peace baby

Yes sir boss...you guys have it going on. When I go to a gig with a EBMM, I know that I have a tool that will get the job done....I have complete confidence. One time we had an outdoor amphitheatre Army gig and it had rained and we were stuck out in really humid conditions.... the neck on my Stingray started to move due to the weather extreems.... I noticed the strings starting to lay on the neck....so between tunes... I just gave the wheel a brief spin and I was back in action. Whoever invented that option is a pure genius and deserves a big ole hug!

And that is why you cats are cool! Professionalism, dedication to growth as a company, dedication to growth of craftsmanship, dedication to growth in the industry. Plus the whole bad-a instrument thing. Dig.

I agree! I sent my Stingray for some fretwork in 2006 and the repair tech did such a great job, and Dan in Customer Service was a pleasure to deal with!

I've dealt with customer service twice - once because I was having fret buzz issues, they had me working properly in a few minutes and the other to inquire about getting a different pickguard. Both times the person on the other end of the phone was friendly and helpful. Sadly, it's rare these days.

+1 - I agree they are great. What I find refreshing is they listen to what their customers say and incorporate changes to deal with the matters, as well as providing a top class service - so to quote Armybass "a well deserved big effin kudos to BP and his crew for the way they run their ship" - they deserve it.

I completely agree! I picked a used 20 year old stingray that had the strap buttons changed out for dunlaps or some other brand - don't know, don't care. AJ didn't even hesitate to tell he'll send two original replacements at no charge. Most company's forget that they sell product and those who provide the product.

Obviously something not lost at EBMM

Great JOB Mr. Ball! (I've not posted enough to refer to you as BP.)

p.s. I gladly paid for a pickguard (aged pearl - nice) a month later for the same bass from AJ.

I absolutely LOVE that I've walked the path (literally) that built my bass, talked (personally) to the folks directly involved with the manufacturing process, and continue to witness (regularly) customer service that stands far above the rest.

Makes for a very special connection to my #1 bass of choice.
