I just bought a Roland Cube 60!

I've been toying with the idea of replacing my old Mesa for a while with something smaller and more versitile. I've always been a fan of tube amps, I even had tube rack stuff back in the day when that was big, so I've shied away from Modelers and such. . .

I've heard the Cubes mentioned here a lot over the last few months - so I tried one - along with an AVT, and a vox modelling amp similar to the cube in layout (I don't remember the model)

Man - the Cube 60 kicks A**! All the sounds I tried were amazing - with little effort. Some of those tones would take me hours to dial in just right on certain tube amps - and I certainly couldn't get them all in one amp. I was expecting it to sound digital and overprocessed like the last digital rack stuff I had (ART stuff)

I'm a convert to the modeling world. Can't wait to get home and play.

Great buy!

I remember the cubes when they came out. Such a versatile amp - our keyboard player went through one too. I bet the new ones are awesome.

Congrats on a fine purchase! My girlfriend got me a cube 30 a few months ago for my birthday. It is without a doubt the best practice amp I have ever heard, and certainly the most versitale. After playing through the cube 30, i wouldn't touch a vox or Line 6. They are great little practice amps!

I've been busy with school work the past few days, so I haven't made time to crank it up. Based on the try-out I gave it in the music store - this one would have gotten you kicked out of the hotel Very Loud for a little 1x12.

Hey you know what would be cool a package deal. Buy and EBMM and get a Roland Micro Cube for 50% off or something like that. Just a thought.

Those 60's are much nicer than the Micro cubes.

The micros only have like a 5 inch speaker, but are great for road trips and such, and were really perfect for SLO.

The 60 is a seriously good amp. You should enjoy it for years.

I bought a Micro Cube on Sunday, and is excellent! Such great sounds in a small package! All for £80! I used to use a Vox Brian May, but this thing is fantastic!
