So last night I met up with a local forum member Andrew (Dr. Stankface). Ive met Andrew before, and the cool thing is that we had both heard of each other before this forum led us to actually meeting.

So we met up and did a little trade.

I traded Andrew my black pearloid SR5 pickguard, my black knobs, and the black switch tip. From Andrew I got a white pearloid pickguard, chrome knobs, and a white switch tip.

Very cool swap.

We werent sure if we were going to trade. His bass has the white pup cover, and we wanted to see how it looked before we traded. Ill say that I really dug his trans red with the black pearloid and black knobs even with the white pickup cover. Dont know if the pics will do his bass justice, but it looked sweet in real life.

That SR5 looks very similar to my SR5 in burnt apple/rosewood with white pearloid PG & black PU cover.

I've always preferred black PU covers to the white ones, but that white cover with the black pearl PG really looks sharp! I like the high contrast. Looks great!
