Hey I just ordered an OLP LUKE. Anyone tried one yet? I just won an EBMM vintage trem off of ebay. Hopefully it will fit on this OLP. I also have an 89 hanging around that will go nicely in it. Oh well hopefully it will make a nice kick around guitar. I will post a review after I get it if that would be interesting? Just let me know what yall think.

At first I also wanted that OLP Luke when I didn't have enough cash to buy an EBMM. But I was very disappointed by the finishes. My local dealer said that it would come in Luke Blue, but the blue color OLP is using is REALLY NOT Luke Blue.
I also don't like the red color, I think those finishes look a bit 'cheap' to me.
I decided to save my money and now I have a REAL Luke, and I'm really happy with that guitar.

But please let me know how it plays, I haven't seen one 'in the flesh' and i'm curious how it is compared to the EBMM Luke.

Luc.

I should have just bought an EBMM Luke. I have bought some upgrades for it like: EBMM trem $46, EMG SL-20 $185, OLP Luke $315. Thats already $546. I still need some locking tuners$?. I think I am going to go with some Planet Waves for $50. That will bring it up to $600 a couple more I could have bought that used one and had a good neck too. I hope the neck will be good cause if it is I have everything else coverd. I had to put an 89 and 85 on ebay to help pay for the sl-20 set so if you are interested I use the same name on Ebay.

Congrats on the new axe. Not to be a ball-buster, but I think you could have picked up a used Luke on eBay for the amount you're putting into the OLP.
