My friends just left for a two week tour and my buddy needed a bass. He was playing a Jaguar that had some electronic issues so I loaned him my Stingray. He loves it!

Just trying to spread the Ernie Ball good will and win over some more people!

See them if you get a chance! They are called 8-Bit Revival.

Yeah last time I did that, my baby came back with scars (physical and mental), never letting it out of my sight again!

You are a braver man than I..... :D

I have an old Squier Bronco bass I would loan him....

But no way would I send my Sterling basses out into the world without my supervision!

Call it a weakness!

I am fortunate enough to own a few basses. I'm smart enough to know who I can loan one to and who I can't trust.

Right now, a 14 year old girl has one of my most valued basses - Sterling's ex-personal favorite bass, a single H Bongo 4. I worry about it a little, but I do know that she's taking good care of it, she's certainly not gigging it and I'm helping to build a new bassist (and customer).

Way to go...now if a 14 year old came up and wanted to borrow a bass, I have a nice P copy that plays and sounds great just for that instance.
