No picts here (sadly the Bongos look much better than myself) - My 3 gig out constantly and I I couldn't be happier. I started making a list of the "past" basses (that I could remember - some 25+) and the Bongos are the sound I've been looking for since '86 (they have been around the longest too)... now if I could just talk the wife into an HS Bongo 4 I'd be set :D

hey, I got my own typos to fix

I still have a vivid memory of when BP handed this bass to Jack.

I barely even knew these folk at the time, and was moved!

Glad that one didn't get the axe; you should have a Wall Of Fame to hang it on.

Wowsa. Found a similar price on a 4-string Bongo today at another GC. Maybe head down to your local GC and see what kind of deal you can strike on a 3 or 4 year old Bongo...

I was thinking of things I could buy my SUB5 for valentine's day the other day...perhaps some nice flowers...or maybe a (Insert other brand bass here) to munch on...
