i like the name....

An intruder is someone that invades property/space/related of yours uninvited.

:p

As far as a musical reference, "Intruder" is the musical intro of "Pretty Woman" from Diver Down, the one with Eddie scratching a can of Schlitz beer on the strings of his guitar while Alex is playing the PW drum beat in the background.
 
Also has synth on it as well.
Kind of a strange name & intro to pretty woman i always felt.
Is he really scratching a can of bear on the strings?

Ah, forgot about the synth...and yes, it is a can of beer that he's using to make the screeches, etc. I read that in an interview/book that was in my high school library, like a guitar greats kind of book.

That boy did some crazy stuff to get his noises...
 
That's what made him cool! Oh yeah, and he was pretty good at the guitar.

He also had cool parachute pants and those weird white jeans.

On the bright side, at least he wasn't the one wearing the scarves...

I had and still do have mixed feelings about that album. What I don't like are that there is too many covers and the overall sound is bright, tiny, and harsh in some areas. Has some pretty good tunes though like Hang 'em high, Cathedral Secrets, Little guitars Full bug.

The Diver Down Tour was the first concert I ever went to

Remember the video to pretty woman ? Wasn't Alex drinking a Schlitz dressed as Tarzan ?
