I got to play out with my new Sterling HS last night, and all I can say is "WOW". Period. I've been playing the SR5 for the last couple months before the Sterling arrived, and now I remember why I'm a 4 string guy in the first place 
. The punch, thump, roar, (insert any other yummy adjective here) was uh-mazing! I feel like my whole perspective on what a bass guitar should sound like has just been given a complete overhaul. Wow. I got so many compliments on the sound in the house, in the mix. I'm spoiled Sorry about the lengthiness, I just wanted to shout it from the rooftops!
