I thought the same before trying them. They have produce wonderfully clean tones. To my ears, they are like a mix of hums and singles. Just awesome. And they do growl!

Great playing ! I started playing with a pic and first 2 fingers just a couple of years ago. After seeing that clip I think I'll throw away my pic!! - I left a comment on the youtube site asking about the gear - I was specifically after what pedal you were going through?
