Another reason to love the words - Out For Delivery

According to the FEDEX site - one of my Dargies is about to be in da house!!!

Even brought a camera to the office so you all could see pics as soon as possible!

Are you concerned you won't have enought time to shower the "new one" with un-interrupted attention!?

Interrupted attention they all get - though the "new one" will get the most attention for the next week or so. More attention-problems arise when I get the word that my Dargie Bongo is OUT FOR DELIVERY!!! (quadruple play thread!)

Anthony - how is the knee? Skiing in Vail last Tuesday was interesting - very icy in the morning and warm and slushy in the afternoon. T-shirts and shorts skiing!!! Season is just about over - unless a major storm comes in.

Yeah - I know - I should have done some clever pictorial like Ritchie D. I did open it in front of the Fedex guy - because I had a damaged case on the last Fedex delivery.

All is well with this one. Simply gorgeous!!!!

Knee is a mess but pre-operative physical therapy is going well - I am up and around, albeit tentatively. Surgery scheduled for a week from Thursday to replace and repair various inner-workings of my knee.

Looking forward to being (close to) 100% again by end of summer! And no gigs currently at risk! :D

Oh boy.

Just got a call from Florida. Dargie #3 is being sent to me today!!!!

And the UPS truck is next door - that means I am next. Pics in a few minutes.

It's here - but it's not staying...

This just showed up - but it has to go back. Significant headstock dings. Customer service is going to let me know what we are going to do - shipping claim or whatever. Other than that it is a beaut.

True - perhaps. I have had 4 other Bongos - all without headstock dings. A new purchase, IMO, should be ding-free.

Maybe these should ship with little Bongo Headstock protective beanies.
