I Love This Bongo

I have played it outdoors when it was 110 degrees.

I have played it indoors at the Hyatt at my 50th birthday party.

I have played it at bars and outdoor events all over Texas.

The back of it is all marked up with signatures from crazy people!

It came with a really nice pickguard that Scott Ball recommended.

Sometimes it wears the "fat girl" pickguard, too.

It is the bass I look for first. It is the one against which the others are judged. It has only one pickup, because it only needs one pickup.

I have many Bongos and have had many more, but this is the one.

If you ever get to play this Bongo, you'll say stuff like "Oh my" and "This is a bass" and so on.

This is a really great Bongo.

Only an opinion from the guitar side, but that is indeed a very cool bass.

Sorry, another comment from the guitar side…I have to say the Bongo has really grown on me. It started much like the Albert Lee guitar, kinda taken back by the shape, it's really different.

Now the Albert Lee is my all time favorite guitar (Bought 2 sight unseen and never looked back) and after seeing and hearing all the good stuff about the Bongo I want one (badly).

I am no where near worthy of a Bongo, I'm not even a friggin Bass player, yet I want one so bad it's silly.
The Bongo, Master of Basses. I think my next purchase will actually be a Bongo thanks to Jack. Dammit!

Recently I tried Bongo 6 H Stealth with small EQ, and said:- wow..., OK one string too much, but this neo single H and baby EQ are doing it just fine!

I can actually play a little bass, and had a Stingray until I gave it to my daughter. If I bought another bass, it'd have to be a Bongo. I've played a few when GC carried them, and my wife and I kick ourselves we didn't pick up one off clearance when they closed them out.
