I absolutely loved that video. Watching the CNC machines, the human process of sanding / buffing and finishing the fret tangs. The radiusing of the neck - and man did you see that machine that cuts the fret slots:eek: My guitar building buddy would give his right arm for one of those - maybe not 'cos then he couldn't build guitars.

I'm currently finishing the refurb of my MD mystic dream and can only watch in jealousy at how its done in the factory - my fingers hurt like hell doing it.

So once again - great video and so glad you brought my attention to it by posting this thread

I love anything that shows guitars being built, especially an EBMM.

I always wondered though what the JPX would look like with the hardware being a dark chrome/nickel instead of black.

Yeah, I never saw that video either but it is great. The insight into the changes John wanted combined with the construction clips is seamless.

...and Travis is such a tasty player

This is a very cool video i did not know so many robots are used in the factory very cool! Looks expensive!
