I need a re-fret. Just send back to EBMM?

My Axis is long over due for some frets. This is my main player and Im scared that it wont quite be the same with new frets. It has special mojo but it needs refretted bad

I wont trust anyone locally to do the job, so I was gonna send it to the guys that built it in the first place

Has anyone had their guitars re-fretted from EBMM? How quick was the turn around? Any issues? I'd hate to have an issue and have to send it clear across the country

When I have sent guitars back to EB (not a refret) the turnaround was very quick. Only had the guitar for a week once, slightly longer for another.

Don't quote me here, but from what CS guys have said in the past, the only options available for your guitar were features that were originally included in the guitar.

But could be different?

The word from MM has always been that they will restore your guitar back to original specs (unless original parts aren't available, e.g. EVH signature on a replacement neck, etc.) So ... that would indicate no to refretting with non-original fretwire.

But as always, the final word rests with CS, so you're best to ask them directly.
