Hee Hee - I'd love a BALB Ball but can't fork out that kinda money as my son is off to Uni this year.

I'll wait for a second hand one to come up and go to the states on a holiday to pick it up.

Gotta say I enjoyed the (bass) gig !!

There are ups and downs (hahaha) to swapping over to the bass, as I found out.

You find that every band under the sun needs a bass player because we all want to be Eddie Van Halen (the words my bass player used).

The bass player I've been in a rotation with has wanted to play guitar and I have said that I might swap over with him now and then.......but he plays bass waaaay better than I can and playing guitar for me is more fun and more of a challenge (since I barely get by playing bass).....

I did play around with a 5 stringer Stingray at GC and that was very nice...... No....I'll stick with my Axis and let someone else do the thumping.

Ok guys got the bongo yesterday, it's a killing instrument

I really enjoy playing bass as much as i enjoy playing guitar now. In the band I play bass on half of 10 tunes out of the 30 we are playing.

I must admit that I'm not yet able to play Bass on our sledgehammer cover (I have enough to deal with the singing and rythm guitar on that track )

Tony Levin is definitly my favorite bass player ever but I'm afraid I will never reach his level.
