I could use some prayers and good vibes.

My girlfriend and I broke up just over a month ago. She was scheduled to do an internship in California, which lead to her leaving about a week after we broke up.

Our contact has been limited to cell phone, and email, and thats even been rather limited, due to the fact that situations like ours cant really be dealt with in those manners.

So, shes back and were supposed to meet at 2PM EST. I guess were having a "closure" talk. Nothing like an afternoon conversation to get closure on a two and a half year relationship.

Wish me the best please.

3 years and an engagement ring, all I got was "See ya'". I wish I had had the "closure" conversation. Be firm but respectful in getting the questions answered that you want answered.

No luck needed for you, Travis. You'll be fine.

dont worry mate .. yes it hurts but i been really hardend . the best way to think of it is this she is the one that has lost out not you , if she doesent want to be with you then hey go find anouther dude . one thing is that there are more women on this earth then men . it dont matter what you look like how much money you have the best aphrodisiac is confidence . dont let any woman make you lose that. good luck to her . now that your single go fishing : ) .

Closure is for wimps. It's really simple...up and out. If you give her the stage to tell you why she prefers not to be with you then she is only reopening a wound. Who does that help? Move forward, learn from your mistakes. If she wants to talk about getting back together then see if you can work it out.

You're a BASS PLAYER....chicks dig em

Sounds very much like an exit interview. If you already have your mind set to the future, then you can go in there and speak frankly...but keep it respectful, even if she doesn't.

You'll come out better for it!

I had a closure talk (more or less) with my ex of 2 years a few days ago. All I can tell you is to keep looking forward man. If you are no longer together, it is for a reason. It isnt worth it to dwell in the past. You have to keep your chin up.

Also, don't ask any questions that you don';t really want to know the answer of. It isn't worth the extra heart ache. Unless you really really want to know everything. Which is part of what closure is about I guess.

Good luck, but I don't know if I really follow the reasoning.

I mean, is this her idea? Yours? Is she doing this to clear her conscience?

Spoiled milk doesn't unspoil. I'm not sure I'd bother.

Just make sure you get back your black t-shirt.

No pics no girl.

that's funny!

as for the getting dumped by the girl thing, as much as i hate to admit it i did lots and lots of crying in my younger days. i can only see in hindsight that while it seemed like my world was crashing to a horrible end, every time I got dumped it was a door getting kicked open to a new and way better beginning. never felt that way at the time though.

a little pain in ones life is a healthy thing too. too many people these days pop antidepressants and don't get the benefits that suffering can bring. every time i ever went through anything painful i came out the other side a happier and more well adjusted person. and ya'll know how well adjusted i am now.

weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!

life is good. keep yer head high, even if ya wanna put a rope around it. :) it'll pass in time.
