I'm a little hurt that you won't even consider Kazak.

Kazak was a recurring character in Kurt Vonnegut novels. A dog, in fact. But it doesn't stop there. The dog Kazak in "Sirens of Titan" had become unstuck in time, basically - he was, in Vonnegut-speak, chrono-syncastically infundibulated and then blown out of the solar system.

I resubmit Kazak.

Truth is, I never got much into Vonnegut. I kept trying to read different books and its weird because I feel like I should like. His writing style and subject matter is right in line with what I like, but for some reason it never really clicked with me. Now Adams on the other hand, I was in love from the first paragraph.
