Well thank you all for your prayers and your thoughts, We certainly appreciate it. I can't say enough positive things about this forum.
Quick update, We had our first interview yesterday. Unfortunately my wife had to get fingerprints taken, I guess to make sure everything was fine, so they could not continue processing until today. It kind of a hard process. She gets to go into the consulate and I get to wait outside across the street just in case she needs me than she can come out and get me.
Yesterday we were there from about 6 a.m. until 1p.m. It is a long wait. Today we were there from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. Unfortunately we have to file a waiver which we won't be able to do until this following Monday.
She came out a little frustrated because she had to wait for about 7 hours just to get told that she had to file this waiver at a separate appointment. Luckily we had scheduled the appointment ahead of time. She was pretty frustrated today, and so was I.
It is a hard process but we are willing to do it. We want to do things right so that we can live in peace here in the US.
Anyway thank you all very very much. I will let you know how it goes on Monday. Hopefully it will be to tell you all that I am on my way home with my Family.

Thank You

Sal

Best of luck to you. I thought that if a person marries a US citizen, they could recieve permanent residence?

Good luck with everything, it will take sometime to have everything ready, most of the time they like to have her without going out of the USA until she got her residence.

Good luck and the fingerprint is part of the process, with my wife she has to take 2 times and one of the times the system said she was a criminal in another state, of course the description did not macht so they took it again to verify.

Prepare all your papers and if possible do not use lawyers for the process.

Good luck and my prayers for a good outcome.

We Got It!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well just wanted to give you guys a quick update. We had our last interview on Monday the 21st, and it went great. My wife went in at 7:30 am and was there until about 4:30 pm. I was outside waiting for her the whole time waiting to see her come out with a smile on her beautiful face, and She Did. We crossed the border at 9:00 pm on Monday, slept in Las Cruces New Mexico, and drove all day yesterday finally arriving at my home at 3:30 am this Morning.
I can't even begin to describe how much inner peace and tranquility I feel. My wife was a little worried because financially we are a little strapped due to my recent hospital stay and now this, but you know I can honestly tell you that I don't mind. As long as I can have my family here with me every thing else I know will work itself out.
I can't thank you all enough for your support. Thank you for your prayers, your kind words and your thoughts. I can honestly tell you that your replies made a big difference.
I can't say enough about this forum and the people who post in it. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You.

Congratulations!

I love it when things work out for the best.

You're right, as long as you've got your family around you, all other things are secondary.
