Just to pretend? It is nice to pretend.

hahahah yes...then i can be one of those awesome jerks with 2 stingrays!

i wasnt a fan of alterig them either until they came out with these, thats actually why i kept the orriginal black pickup covers. but let me tell you the part fit ridiculously perfect, there was not a single milimeter of inch difference and the thing was incredibly snug around the pickups

you can combine threads? these are truly the powers of the mods. do you ever have the temptation to combine all the threads into one omni thread and retitle it "omni thread" cause i would.

This is the kind of thing that people think up when they're... uh... when they've got the munchies.

I just emailed customer service this AM to order one. I've always wanted one for my 2002 SR4.

EDIT: Cool! I just spoke with A.J. and I'm gonna pick up mine on Thursday morning when I'm in SLO.

I just got two white covers last week. I put one on the trans teal '99 but have opted against putting the other one on the '77. Here's a not-so-great shot from a gig last week. While I've never been a fan of black SRs, this shot makes me realize how cool the white cover would look on one.

May I ask, where I can order white Pickup Covers for my 2002 SR5?

If I recall correctly, you can't order a pickup cover for a SR5, because the cover is glued onto the pickup. If you want a different pickup cover you'll have to replace the entire pickup.

In order to do this you would have to contact Customer Service and make arrangements through them, because the old pickup must be returned to them before they'll send you the new one.

Movielife... very easy to swap out. Basically loosen strings, remove pickup, swap cover (comes right off), reinstall pickup and retune. Took me about 6 minutes. JOSH
