Hi! My name is Dave. A special "hello" to my fellow Canuck EBMM fans!
I play a Silhouette Special w/ matching headstock, vintage sunburst, tortoise guard, hardtail, maple board, piezo. I run 2 Evidence Melody cables out of my Silo - the mag output to my pedalboard and the piezo output to a Radial JDI to the house.

I play with a band called The Carpet Frogs in Toronto and with Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman in The Burton Cummings Band and The Bachman Cummings Band. I've used my Silo this summer on dates with Bachman Cummings in Canada from Vancouver to Grand Falls, NFLD and I absolutlely love it! Randy Bachman did a double take when he heard the piezo sound coming from my Silo!

My thanks to Glen Booth EBMM Sales Representative Extraordinaire for hooking me up with Ernie Ball.

A shout out to EBMM Dealers Brent and Paul at The Guitar Shop, Eric at The Arts Music Store in Newmarket (thank you for the setup!), and Mike McAvan at The 12th Fret in Toronto.

Howdy, Dave, and welcome. Lots of Silo love spoken here. Nice one! Now, did you match your Silo to your stage clothes or match your clothes to your Silo?

Hey Dave,

Welcome to the forums. That's a very nice Silo Special you've got there. Saw you in a few pics from the Albert Lee clinic at The Guitar Shop. They are a great bunch of guys there.

It's very cool that you're playin' with Bachman and Cummings. Most people are surprised when they hear the piezo on a ball. Now, wouldn't it be great if Randy started playin' BALLS:D

I've known Mike at the 12th Fret for about 10 years, now. Very cool guy. He's mentioned your band before. Are you the same Dave that's gone with him on a few of the Toronto Boat tours. I believe your band plays on those nights, right?

Anyway, stick around the forums. There are a great bunch of guys and gals here.

Welcome to the forum, Dave! Another Canucklehead, and one with high exposure to boot! Pretty soon there will be more EBMMs north of the border than south of it...hehehe:rolleyes:
