So after much deliberation, I finally ordered a Music Man. Originally I wanted a JPX, but after carefully playing both it and a standard JP6, I have come to the conclusion that both my wallet and I prefer the standard JP6. As of now I have a fully loaded Pearl White JP6 on order. The actualy order won't be phoned in until Monday morning though, so I still have time to change the color, and I am not 100% set on Pearl White. Particularly Sterling Silver has me intrigued, as well as plain old black, and also blue pearl. What do you guys suggest?

I LOVE White Pearl on a JP. I have to get one soon. I'm thinking a loaded one.

I dont have one at the moment. Mine are Blue Pearl, Pearl Red Burst, and Stealth Black.









Edit... the Pearl Red Burst is actually a JP50 just to clarify.

@Ripper: I would have regretted not having the arm contour of the original. It is too comfortable for me to not have it. Plus the JPX was much higher in price, and I just can't spend THAT much money on a guitar right now.

@Hendog: Do you have any links to photos of your Blue Pearl JP? The internet seems to be lacking pictures of blue pearl JPs.

I would go with White Pearl but I own a Blue Pearl lol, There was just someone who bought a Blue Pearl within the last few weeks and posted some great pics. I do not remember the exact name of the thread, but just backtrack and you should find it.

Can not go wrong with anything you choose as all EBMM rock, and while I am not a big fan of white guitars that color is fantastic

Everyone has a MD so i'd say go for the white.
The butter cream would be killer too but it's a limited run
