Took a trip to GC and tried several basses that were bland, and before I left I took a SR5 off the wall for the heck of it, and there was THE tone and feel I love. I always knew I loved my rays, but I was reassured that they were the only bass I really need. Of course I'd like a few more. Gotta have one for flats only;)

I want to test out a bongo but haven't see one at guitar center in a long time.

Guitar Center doesn't carry a lot of them unless it is online. I bought all of my Bongo's from Bass Central without ever playing a single one but was very impressed when I got them.

ya know, I feel the same way about EBMM guitars. If I go into a GC and I don't immediately see any (any model is fine!!) then my heart drops! It's like - "don't you guys carry any guitars"??

There goes any inspiration, drive, excitement I had about jammin' for awhile - It's gotta be an EBMM or it ain't a guitar, it's that simple.

Whenever I play a bunch of basses at Guitar Center or any other store, I'll usually find one or two that I really like, then I'll put that one down and pick up an EBMM and it's instantly just better! It'd be nice to have more variety at Guitar Center, which usually just has a bunch of Rays. I've only run into two Bongos and both were not set-up well at all. Whenever I walk into a new store I hope there's a Reflex there, but I've only ever seen one.
