Help! I think a DL is coming

My old Laney has just left the house, and I have some new funds in order to go for the Darklord...I think I´ll take the dive for that one...

Just a question...

How does the neck profile compares to a Reflex / Y2D?

I know this one is likely to be wider, but everyone´s saying that is as comfortable as it gets...

I haven't played a DL ... but it's hard to imagine any neck feeling better than the stock Y2D

Standard Y2D neck is superb, but I dunno if this "wider" profile on the DL is going to be too much for me xD

The neck isn't as big as any of my les pauls. Larger than the Luke3, but certainly not a baseball bat.

I haven´t tried the Luke so I dunno about that comparison, but if you´ve ever played another MM guitar (Axis, Y2D, Silo Special, Reflex)...is it "too" different?

Sadly no, I am a recent convert. Always been a les paul player-like 30 years anyway. DL is #1 now. Luke3 is the backup and the 1/2 step tuned down guitar. Though really I could flip flop them because I've wired the DL to cop much of the same tones-and even added a boost to it. I did have a Petrucci for a bit, but I didnt bond with it, neck and floating trem.

The JP is definetely the most different of them all, since the neck is almost flat...

I think I´ll go for this babe...you can´t be wrong if everyone is praising her so much!
