Wow.

I went with orange because I thought it would be sort of SHOCKINGLY BLING but Tomas' suggestion worked out way better. I will do some beauty shots ASAP, but the burst around the edges really works to make it just - classy. It's a lot more subtle and beautiful than I expected. Do the initial photos convey that? It's not at all IN YOUR FACE. It's smoky, hot, definitely not what I expected. Lamborghini Burst is - well, look at it.

Is that what you expected?

Man. What a great looking bass.

Okay, so - you all know I'm a flats guy. So this doesn't have flats (yet). Favorite so far is the active with rear bridge pickup, to one one's surprise. To MY surprise, a close second is the passive option with the tone set rather flat.

I need some time with this one. But - Sterling? This is another one of those 'never going anywhere' basses.

I emailed the responsible parties already, but let me say it here. Scotty, thank you for making this a reality for me. Tomas, thank you for saying, "You know what we could do....."

It's just amazing. I keep looking at it and thinking, "This is mine?" One part of me thinks this finish is so great that everyone should be able to have it. Another part of me thinks this finish is so great that no one else should ever have one!

More later. Must play it.

xoxo

I knew you were. Aziah told me there were a lot of "oohs" and "ahhs" when she brought it to shipping. It is really something, isn't it? Thank you.

Well, I believe that now is the time to consider about Your avatar's signature Jack?

I mean, "Lord Bongo" doesn't make sense any more to me, Sir?

I look at this and have to ask myself (again) why black/black/maple is the most popular color.

What are these people thinking about?

I mean… look at it.

Orange basses are better. They just are.

I must agree with You AD, ...but I had so much GAS when ordering my reflex that I didn't wanted to wait for a new color chart, ...any orange color was not available than!

But I'm still in love with my "White Cadillac"! :)

Congrats on a very beautiful piece of craftsmanship!

No envy here though. You do so much for the forum, you deserve a little extra.

Enjoy it!
