I think John Petrucci needs a new guitar!

After seeing the last tour and the new DVD I think that Petrucci needs to have a new guitar made before the next tour. Since all he seems to play now are his BFR's then that means there's no double neck action going on. Hence he really needs to have a BFR double neck with a 12 string on top and 6 on the bottom to replace his original blue sparkle Don't worry about the weight, he's buff enough now that he can handle it

This is true. He could turn that thing upside down and wear out a little bit of Voodoo Chile! HA HA!


Imagine the big, beautiful piece of figured maple that would be on top of the double neck! It could even be finished up with matching capped headstocks! What color could it be though? I can't photoshop stuff but I'd like to see someone mock one up just to get an idea what it'd look like.
