I've had great tones out of a Vox. Let me think a minute about what I've played through in the last few years; Vox, Laney (my stock amp for 14 years), Marshall, Fender, Tech 21, Blackstar, vintage Music Man. Great tones out of all of them but they all do different things well and don't do other things well.

I don't think any one make of amp suits any one brand of guitar, especially such a versatile brand as Musjc Man.

Played mine through many Boogies and loved all of it, but now I'm using the Fractal Axe FX II XL and it just sounds so amazing I can't put it into words!

I've played my EBMM guitars through lots of great amps, but nothing comes remotely close to the Axe-Fx II for me. Well it's about 200 of the worlds best amps in one box. I only use a handful of them, but that's all I need to get the job done.
Same here :D
I dont think its the guitar, its more the black box ;)

I like my Marshall JVM 410 H. Very versatile and well equipped tube amp at a reasonable price. It can go from fenderesque cleans to heavy distortion. Try one...

My luke3 gets on really well with my Mesa boogie mk2c+. Sounds awesome.
