I think my preamp went bad on me

I have a stingray 4 string thats not producing a peep! Here's what I've figured out so far: Its not my amp or my chord (tested with another bass). I've done the obvious thing of checking my volume. Its not my battery (metered 8.88 volts and it worked in my other active bass). I checked all the wiring throughout the bass, nothing wrong there. With my battery in, I'm getting power at the input jack, and then with my jack in, I'm getting power at the circuit board/preamp. Is it possible my preamp went south on me?? Anybody else have any other ideas? please help. I miss my musicman! Thank you.

It does sound like your preamp to me tbh. like phatduckk said, contact EB customer services, they'll sort it for you.

Thanks for the reply, but I'm pretty sure its not the battery cable because I'm getting power at the input jack and at the preamp when my chord is in.

Well, you've done everthing that I could think of. I guess a call to customer service would be the next step.
