VW's marketing is amazing... a few years ago when Lance Armstrong first won the Tour De France they partnered up with Trek and gave away "free" bikes with the purchase of the VW Jetta Trek Edition...
They are trying a new approach to selling cars weather it be to 30 year old professionals or musician wannabe's it's simple yet amazing.
If I could Plug a guitar into my car I would totally do it... Might not use the First Act but I'd definately plug in something... Might be a good enough reason to drop some more bucks and buy an EBMM...
