First of all, I finally put up the clock I won on ebay. (sorry no pics of the old one)

Old desk. Even though it was a corner desk, it never seemed very big and it was hell to keep dusted. Also didn't have any good storage.

New desk, thanks Ikea! Still having some cable management issues, but those will be handled.

And most importantly, this is where the bass content comes in, here is the old setup.

And now the Mo' better...

The rig is just about perfect for my needs. It sounds great at apartment after hours volume, but its like a cat ready to pounce with deadly precision at any moment if I want it too.

I played my fretless Bongo through it tonight and not only am I am really digging the rig, but I think I would marry this bass if it was possible and it would let me have conjugals with my girlfriend. This bass is a little hot rod and it still blows my mind how easy it is to play everytime I pick it up. Everybody should have a fretless Bongo!

That blasted medallion gold Bongo haunts me in my sleep.

You should play it. It's so good that it almost makes me think I could play fretless.

That's a good fretless, indeed.

I looks like you've got a great computer over there. I also notice you have a M-audio usb soundcard, I have one too, I think the exact same!

That Bongo makes me want a single H Bongo. Fretless but I think i'd go unlined. Seems like i'd adapt easier because I play a little string bass as well.

I really need to come by and check out that Bergie. It looks really sweet and after hearing Ben's at the Bongofest, I'm really intrigued. Although I'll probably be playing the Schroeder for a little while, you always need to be thinking what your next rig will consist of.

Maybe we can get together after I get the BC Bongo!

That sounds like a good idea. The Bergie is definately nice, would be a little better off with a bit more power, but for my circumstances its a killer little rig. I will probably be on the lookout for a used MAG 600 in the future, especially if I want to get the matching 112, and I am anxious to give the new Markbass stuff a whir when it finally hits GC.

I would really like to try out the Mark Bass gear. GC is going to be the retailer for Mark Bass?

Yep, products should start appearing in March supposedly. There is a rumour that the Little Mark will start out selling for $500, which would be crazy cheap if that happens. The cheapest you can get one from Canada right now is like $625.

Your rig is slowly turning into mine!

Andrew

I posted this in the other thread, but I will quote myself here.

I actually just decided to bastardize your setup Andrew A couple Bongos, one fretted, one fretless, throw in some piezo, a Berg HT210S and to top it off an Ashdown head. I also realized the other day that you are exactly one day older than me. I have played the ABM's and for my needs I actually prefer the way the MAG sounds a bit, but I think Ashdown is making some cool stuff altogether.

And now I have copied your sig too.

I compliment you on all of your choices. Especially the whiskey pictured.
