I am picking up my loaded 2005 LE Petrucci in buttercream on saturday. Ever since I agreed to buy it I have not been able to stop thinking about the axis I sold earlier this year.
It was an immaculate supersport with the deepest 3d quilt top I have ever seen. At the time I sold it because I was sick of playing out with my Marshall AVT100 and used the sale to fund a Mesa Stiletto Ace 1x12 (which I love) but I reckon, in hind sight, I could should have probably tried to move some other stuff (plus the band has since folded and I am not allowed to play the Mesa at home)

I have come to the conclusion that I am never going to sell another guitar that I even remotely like ever again.

1st guitar purchase of 2008 is going to be a gold axis supersport with an equally sick quilt / flame top. I quite fancy a sihouette as well

Ohhhh!
Here we go again.
Music Man seller's remorse.
Never seent that around here!
When will you people learn???? :D

I think it's almost mandatory to make that mistake at least once.
It's like listening to parents' advice. You don't listen.
You must learn on your own. ;)

Hmm,

Of the 4 Musicmans that I've sold on, 3 are still in the hands of Knuckleheads, and the other is in the hands of the Bassist from my last band. I'm not sure if it's better or worse having them close by or not ?
At the time it felt better that they were staying in the 'family'so to speak.
And I imagine that they're getting a damn sight more use than when they were languishing on my guitar stands. Ho hum
Still new Albert arriving later this month

Hurrah....

This is what I think about every guitar I've sold. Don't sell unless you never, ever are going to play it again. Lesson learned, I guess.
