Unfortunately I pretty much stopped playing when I left my band in Oct. of '07 and haven't really stayed on top of the new products. I've been dabbling with starting to play something (trumpet, piano, bass) again once my shoulder heals up from the surgery that I had last month though.

Wow, Larry! Great to see you back! What sort of surgery did you have? Is your shoulder healing ok?

Hi Lisa! How have you been?

I had a bone spur removed, a tear in my rotator cuff repaired and some other various scraping of my collar bone. This happened 5 weeks ago and I still have about 3 months until I'm released to go back to normal. I started physical therapy this week and it's just loads of fun. Thank you for your concern.

It sounds like they cleaned a lot of stuff up for you, Larry. I gather your physical therapy comment was (mildly) sarcastic. Unless you have a hot young babe therapizing you :p. It's a great inspiration to see your results and Sterling's. Mark and I are going to the gym now and eating more healthy food. But we don't look as good as youse guys -- yet.

It's good to see everyone! Hello back at y'all!

Thanks everybody! Great to hear that you're all still around!

As for the trumpet, that was my main instrument for a long time and I've kind of kept my chops up by playing soprano bugle with the Shriners since '96. Maybe if I hang here for a while I'll get the bass bug again though.

Hey Sterling, I guess you found out that the most expensive part about losing weight is buying the new wardrobe. Any pictures of you around as a "skinny guy"?

Thanks Mynan. Took me a while to scan through that thread.

I'm really diggin' that Big Al. If I were to pick up bass again I would probably have to have one of those even if it is only in a 4 string.
