Victim? Do what Stanky does...get a nice suite a willing lady and fog up your screen on your laptop alternating between the Atlanta Thrasher hockey website and GK's...he is so engrossed he doesnt even notice that she is snoring......Way to go Stanky!

She still doesn't believe that she snores. I've tried to tell her! She doesn't want to hear it.

I fully enjoyed our swanky suite. While she was taking a nap though, what ELSE was I supposed to do? :p

The I like GK and hockey,

Back to my new Markbass..... :)

I just got home from my first practice using the new StingRay and new Little Mark II , And the bass and amp sound GREAT together. That head has got such great range, you can go from a bright sound, down to a warm sound, all the way to a vintage all tube svt type sound, I could't be happier with my bass and amp!

Thanks BP, Jack, Andrew Mingus, and all for recommending the Markbass! :D

PS - Ritchie, how did your first gig go with the MB combo ?

Glad to hear your rehearsal went well!

My gig was good. For what it was. The bar was kinda dead. And only a couple dozen of the drunks were obnoxious! :(

However, the Markbass performed very well! The drummer really likes it. And another guitar player I used to jam with was there. He liked it as well.

I used my Steinberger for the first two sets. Just in case it gets rowdy. I don't worry about the Steiny getting bashed around.

But for the third and fourth set, it was Dargie Delight Sterling HS time!

Great sound! It took a bit of dialing in. It sounded completely different at the gig than it did in my house. :)

But what a super combination! Dargie + Markbass = TONE 4 DAYS!

Great looking head you got there!

I can't decide whether I should sell my GK 700RB-II for a LMII to go with my bergs...I just can't decide!

I'm fortunate that I was able to keep my "old" setup (Sunn 1200s, Ampeg cabs) while adding the Markbass gear, but I don't even use the old stuff at home now.

And I'm sure not going to go humping it around!

I will just say that I've heard an LMII thru a bergie and it was beautiful.

Congrats, on the Markbass score.

Having been without a decent amp for over a month (in for warranty work and no will call me about it GRRRR). I have made the decision that before this year ends I will have some sort of Markbass setup.

I've been dying to play the Markbass stuff at home instead of just at GC but it's a little hard to justify to the wife. Then I got a lucky break ---- my GK cabinet appears to be coming down with a cold (as in it sounds like a hacking cough when I really dig in). Whatever will I do for a replacement? ;)

What Stank said is right, they are both good amps, the GK does sound very good, as well as the Little Mark II, but I fancy the LM2
