If I only had the funds, the funds that go into my beat up old Porsche 944's (both racecar and street car), I would totally get one of those MARK BASS amps from the North Druid Hills GC in Atlanta...I bring my trusty '88 SR4 and jam for hours (at least until close) at GC trying every MB function and yeah...every note leaves a grin on my face:p

need to fix the A/C in my '87 daily driver 944 before I can get a MARK BASS...I have a hole the size of a dime in my condessor...it is 9ty too hot degrees in Atlanta:mad: ...got a '67 VW Bug that needs new tires(I plan to sell) and I need to rebuild my tranny in my racecar 944 and another passenger side door painted black...why can't I simplify my life and just stick to bass guitar and drive a pickup truck?

MARKBASS at GC = perfect tone, perfect smile on face:D
I'll trade my prized SWR for a MARKBASS!!!

I'm joining the club...

Got a GK Neo 1001/212 combo 27 days ago from GC and it hasn't thrilled me. Tons of power, but still not a thrill. I took it back and there should be a MarkBass CMD102P combo heading my way soon.

Arin, you just need your 1001 back.

The 1001 is your friend.

1001 is a nice amp - But after finally playing Markbass, I was blown away, MB sounds better than any amp I've ever played.

Those 2 magic knobs are...... MAGIC!:D

After playing GK = :)

After playing Markbass = :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

So, I took my Markbass and my StingRay, and just sat and jammed by myself for about 2 1/2 hours, and MB is all it's cracked up to be - My Musicman sounds better than ever - great tone. I love that amp, and I love my bass - I've got the best bass equipment know to man..... and that's a good feeling!

i like the 1001 but right now im favoring the little mark by far. its simpler and smaller... so its not just a sound thing.. even tho i think it sounds better too.

my only suggestion to improve the little mark would be to up the wattge to 600... that way u get 600 watts for $600 in a 6 pound package. they could then rename it to the 666 and it would be the awesomest amp ever

so if you turn it upside down, do you get 900W for $900 in a package that weighs 9lbs?
