Question Ice Blue - Where's the Love?

I'm a big fan of the new colors that came out last year like Orange Firemist, True Gold, and Ice Blue. I've seen the Orange Firemist and True Gold in person and think they are brilliant -- especially with the new pickguards (like vintage white).

I have yet to see Ice Blue in person and I don't recall anyone here buying a MM in that color. There are a few on eBay that don't seem to sell.

So, what's the deal? If you have one, post some pics. if you've seen one, share you're thoughts. Anyone have Ice Blue on order?

Ice Blue and Pearl White are just awesome. I almost got my BFR Silo in Ice Blue, but Pearl White was the winner that time.

the silo looks like it just needs a ruffled shirt and it's ready for the prom. no offense to the manly master craftsman at EBMM, but it's kinda "weak" looking.

I like the Ice Blue, but also have not seen it in person. I do remember someone on the bass side got a Sterling 5 in Ice Blue several months ago - it looked really nice.

Its very close to the best EBMM ive owned, the RW neck really is awesome, and its a really good dark neck too, no light RW for me, I like it dark and brooding! Killer feel.

lefty...agreed that ice blue silo has a bit of a "nerdish" quality to it- i bet it would look much better with a white pickguard

Yeah that blue pickguard is gross with the ice blue! Maybe ice blue is better with no pickguard, like a Luke, ASS or JP?

Rob, that guitar really makes me regret not getting a RW neck MM. The sad thing is that I specifically remember your post basically begging people not to sleep on the opportunity.

Well, the RW neck is so unique, more so than any special finish, for example. The feel and tone is something else. I dont really care for any particular colours, they dont mean as much as other factors.
