If martini olive greens are selling well, then

Lets have a whole line of alcoholic EBMM instruments!

I'm picturing a brown fading to black sparkle called Johnny Walker Sparkle...with highballs for the fret markers!

or buttercream and gold called a Buttery Nipple. with 1oz. shots for the inlays.

or maybe a Trans. light brown called "Pilsner" with an overweight guy puking in a public toilet for markers! or a pint glass...it's up to you BP!

I'm having a vision here....albeit, a blurry one!

the dargie was in good fun but i dont think that we will expand on the theme......now cars maybe!

I was just thinking yesterday about the BMW car design cues present in the Bongo (just look at the Z4...those lines SCREAM Bongo to me), and how cool it would be if I could get a Desert Gold BMW to go with my bass. Maybe even with tort dashboard inlays.

As if I'd have the money for THAT. Hah.

Alternatively, BMW has some fairly nice colors. There's a guy at work who has a bright red Z4, and it's struck me that the color would look pretty good on a Bongo.

But what do I know? Bupkus, that's what.

I like my black cherry burst 'Ray 5 because the color reminds me of light shining thru a glass of good red wine... a nice Syrah or Pinot Noir. This dawned on me at rehearsal the other night.

Or did BP mean a new model with the same name as a car? Hmm...

Stingray, Sabre, Cutlass.

MusicMan Nova or Grand National perhaps?

I don't know about this, I'm pretty bad to accessorize all my basses. Each bass has its own matching strap and fancy pickguards, but if I have to tell my wife I have to buy a matching CAR, my bass buying days may be over!

Oh, that's easy. Just set up the failure of your existing vehicle somehow (Mythbusters proved that bleach in the oil pan works pretty well, but sugar in the gas tank doesn't).

Then the argument goes like this: "Gee, hon, I have to buy a new car anyway, so I might as well...."

Depending on how vehicle-savvy she is, you could even create a "failure" that isn't there. Wiring the oil light so you can illuminate it on demand is a good one. "Look! It's about to BLOW UP!"

A nice Merlot red bass - matching headstock - and wine goblet inlays. Nice!!!

That would be SO SWEET!! I do have a matching headstock on my BCB SR5, and it is gorgeous... but, frankly, I would prefer NO inlays on my fret board (it confuses the guitards, always good for a laugh) ... but . yeah, well, maybe dancing Reidel pinot glasses on the 12th fret or something...

Anyways, Here is my fuzzy logic:

The Bongo was designed by BMW, a car maker.
Therefore,
The Bongo is logically a car.

EBMM designed and made the Bongo.
Therefore,
EBMM is logically a car maker.

OMG....my fuzzy logic was really a fuzzy prophecy!
