.... or if you were lucky enough to have a record deal, which would bring the possibility of any EBMM with any combination possible, what would you play? Personally, I love the feel and look of my SR5, but I LOOOOVE the sound of my Bongo, so:

SR5 body shape, basswood body, finished sunburst w/ matching headstock, maple board w/ block inlays, 24 fret neck, finished like an SR5 (not painted), all black hardware, sans pickguard, electronics mounted from the back, with Bongo HH pickups and 4 band EQ. Phew, that's quite an order! lol

So, what would you play?

The only thing I'd add to my orders if I could is a weight target. I've had heavy and light and I always prefer the light ones. I'd be willing to pay more if they could hit a specific weight but I also understand how difficult and distruptive that could be so I'm not expecting it to happen.

Ok, what the hell ... a derivative of the 20th SR4, with some differences: Ash body (natural satin/oil finish), Mahogany tone block, ridiculously figured Flamed Maple top (also satin/oil finish), no pg, HH pups, Flamed Maple neck & board, silver nut.

Now this is a question I like :D

Greenburst or Purpleburst Bongo matching stock, maple neck (naked), black/cream 7 ply guard, maple board, black hardware - HS with the bridge H moved into the single H position

Hmmmm,

I'd get:
SR5 model

Flamed maple top w/matching headstock

Blueburst, no pg, rear mount knobs

Black hardware

Ebony fingerboard

and the H/S/S setup with the middle S out there with the other pickups.

I have everything I need. Really. I was reading the other custom shop thread and trying to come up with something, but aside from maybe a cool finish (say, green with red flames, heh heh), my basses are just about exactly what I'd want anyway.

EDIT: I'd order a five string version of the Flaming Biff Bongo, though. I surely would.

id want a trans black and/or trans white HS Sterling

the only non-cosmetic mod I'd want would be to have position 5 be as loud as the other positions.... or at least a bunch louder than it already is.
