Fretlessrocks's Electroline.

OOoopppz, wrong forum .....

Of the MM's I've seen here, Evil Ernie's Sabre is the jaw dropper.

Having no respect for collectibiliblibideee, I'd have to mod it to exhorcize that nasty Sabre tone, but that wood is like if I die in the morning it'll be awreet ....

Beat me to it. I REALLY want that bass.

I don't think anyone, anywhere has what I'm currently GASing for...a 5 string Bongo lined fretless, H w/piezo.
Prolly not. But if somebody did have one, it would be me [altho I might allow a SC at the neck]. But I don't have one cuz you don't stumble over such an ax at a clearance sale and I've never custom ordered anything more major than a sandwich. So .... After you get yours, and when your gassing for the conquest after that, sell me your BHP5FL [if it's NOT green].

I always said I wanted Gav's trans-white StingRay
and although we never made a deal, he found me
one, so I'm good unless anyone here has a tobacco-
burst SR4/5.

Thanks Gav.

MusicMan Nut has a bunch of basses that I really like, such as this one:

I second on this MM, it is sharp as a tack! (the binding is really cool and unique), and the only person I know to have had one with binding is Robin Duhe, bass player for Soul/R&B group Maze featuring Frankie Beverly.

Let's not forget the bridge is intact and in its full mute kit glory.:p

I'm even willing to compromise on the neck for this one, even though I'm a maple guy.

I want a 5 string mahogany Bongo with a single H, too.
Looks like a piezo bridge. OK then THAT's the ONE. That's my brother's wife that I want for myself. Blank plank, HSC, Piezo [drools].

Lately, I was thinking I'd get a white Bongo, in toilet seat white [aka washer-dryer white] so I could get a custom PG made in 'Tidy Bowl Blue'. Then I was wondering if brown PU covers was going a bit too far.... but the TBB PG, hell yesszzz.

Indeed, it is a piezo bridge.

As for TBB, would you settle for abalone?

If you solo the piezo, do you get a somewhat woody sound with good mids and solid lows? I know it's hard to describe tone, but that would be my definition of solid body piezo tones that I have played and consider musical enough to play with the mag PU fully turned off.

I realize sometimes the tone is good but the low E and F, and low B-thru-C#, aren't exactly earthshaking, and sometimes the upper part of the G-string is a bit punked out, but if everything in between is 'musical', I call that a good piezo, especially if it catches that woody quality.

So what do you get from it on a Bongo? Do I really want your wife or not?
