I love the Anniversary Silo but the only thing that bothers me (and some of my thin stringed brethren) is the fact they(ed- The Pickup Mounting Rings) arent symmetrical - two screws on the bass, one on the treble.

That's all that's necessary. You only need 3 points to define a plane. I feel that the functionality of these mounting rings will only add to their beauty. Dudley Rocks.

It is should be hard for me not to GAS for the Aniv. Silo. I played guitar long before picking up the bass. But once I got the SR5 well let's just say there are plenty of guitar players in the world and I no longer feel like one of them.

NorM we seem to agree a whole bunch on choice of guitar. Maybe you should be worried a bass player chooses that one. :)

Guys seriously I have strats and teles as well as some ESP guitars and other under my belt and some I still listen to played. They haven't got anything on the Axis my nephew played at Mass Street.

EB guitars are just like the basses.

The only thing I don't know is how they couldn't be for everybody.

I'd go with these two, having admired both for their tone and looks for years:

This thread should be mirrored to the EBMM G**tar Forum, just for sh*ts and giggles.
