Great stuff! Love that buttercream Silo Special.

Rob,
That was such a great find. It's absolutely mint, not a mark on it, and I found it at a Guitar Center in North Carolina doing an online search of their used inventory. Used Music Gear at Guitar Center The best part is that I got it for $300 off of the advertised price. It also came with Schaller's and a strap.

I'll post a pic later. I'm at work plus I'm updating my uber-rack tonight or tomorrow AND the room is a mess because it's my office/music room on one side and my 3 kid's playroom on the other. For now, this is how it looked when I finished the rack. You can see the keyboard to the left.

Slick set-up, though. I'm envious...Especially of that Halo 3 poster; where'd you get it?

ah, o.k. i use the 40a plus an activ sony subwoofer.
the samsons are really nice, especially the price they are asking for.

the sony speakers above them are just for short control listening how it sounds on normal hifi speakers.

@fogman:

is that an old ibm keyboard you gots there kevin?
i luv those clickety things (and everybody else hate the noise they make) :D

here is my desk:
desktopzf3.jpg

my puter down to the left, mailserver to the right. gonna replace that one soon. it sounds like a 747 on stereoids :)
the phone on top of the speakers is from 1969 (2 years older than me) :)
the speakers are a pair of tr8 from event. they sound good, but the 8" is too much for the room.. the bass only has one frequency
guess im gonna have to do some experimenting to get it better!

the room isnt big.. the picture is taken from the doorway, so there is pritty much just room for the desk, me and the chair :)

Tristan - I've tried but I can't resist this one (apologies if someone beat me to it in another post).

Ahem....

How well does your Big Knob work with your Balls?

...I mean your Mackie Big Knob and your EBMMs of course...what were you thinking? :D

Seriously though, great setup. Is that a QuikLok Z600 desk? I've been thinking about getting one of those myself.
