They will probably throw a custom mmeb forum tee in with the forum Bongo.

With our screen names on the left sleeve and the dob on the right sleeve. :)and a beautiful front and back mmeb print .

They will most likely be Russel Athletics in the color of the forum bongo, and mmeb will have the little patch on the bottom custom ordered to say, MMEB.

Now that we have that squared away, lets get on to the specs of the forum Bongo. :D

Add a grand to the price I am sure they will do most anything. I would like to see a passive SR 5 for the forum members myself and I WOULD pay extra for it.

I like to dream BIG...

I say that a forum LE instrument would be awesome like so:

* Dudley designs a brand new axe from scratch.. something a little on the daring side. Something he'd love to make, but fear of limited sales might otherwise prevent him from doing.

* A new, unique color for said instrument, conceived and dictated by EBMM.

* Orders taken from forumites within a specific time frame. If enough are ordered, the run is a go, otherwise the deal is off. Deposits or pre-pay mandatory. After the time window for ordering has elapsed, EBMM makes as many as were ordered, and no more.

Of course, if this is overreaching, then I'd be happy to see a limited edition color available on the Bongo (for our Bass brethren) or the Silhouette for the guitar folks.

Then again, a HSH pickup config on a Silhouette would be nice.. with piezo and MM tremolo.

i could dig it, but i dont think i out of u.s. buddies would like that so much. not that they wouldnt like it, but if you did that youd have to make one for every country and that would be a pain.

Maybe, but don't think of it as a nationalistic thing, just a cool color combo :)

Chill out. I was just joking. It's a forum with serious and not so serious discussions. This is one of the "NOT" so serious. Take claim and enjoy. WWJD?

Wow- ltd. edition colors, pg's t-shirts----Some FAN-atics here! :D
(It's all good!)

Thought I would chirp in here; maybe some of the MM staff would agree, maybe not- but---

(Unfortunately, EB/MM builds gu***rs too, and they really are a pretty small shop, all considered. I was told there's about a three month wait for a Bongo
or Sterling if you want a particular color or 'board that's not hanging on a shop wall somewhere...

So given their stock production requirements, and the staff needed to build these instruments, and the time it takes to do so, adding another build to the mix, especially a limited edition, even at more $$, might not be practical, business-wise.
Not that they don't want to make their customers happy, etc, but the shop can only do so much, and fill existing and future orders too.

Hey, that's my story and I'm stickin' to it!!

BTW.... I agree a LTD edition could be sweet tho.

Friends it shall be. The apostle Peter asked Jesus "How many times do I forgive someone, 7 times?", Jesus answered "No", but 70 x 7! UNLIMITED! Wow. :)
