UPS dropped it off, and in two minutes, it was plugged in. 5 seconds later, I was in love.

I wasn't sure how I'd like the MM-90's, as I tend to like higher gain (though not metal) sounds. But I ran it through my Peavey, and tried the clean, low gain, and gain boosted channels. These little puppies can actually handle alot of gain. I am really impressed with the amount of attitude and bite these pickups have.

I'm also a huge fan of the neck and the body shape now. The neck profile reminds me alot of the Axis shape. And the body shape not only looks cool, but feels good as well.

That's just an account of my first 20 minutes. I believe I've become an AL and MM-90 convert.

I have to say double thanks to wolfbone. once for giving me a great deal, and again for selling me a guitar that is less than 1 year old!!

I couldn't be happier with this!! Love it, love it, love it!! I think I've found my one EBMM to keep.

that is a killer combination with that pickguard. i have been really thinking about an AL. I keep jumping between a Morse, JP6 and now the AL.

How long have we been telling you guys about the AL?

Tony, it kinda speaks volumes for the AL when we have guys like you who have taken the plunge after playing a different type of ball over the years.

I had always owned Humbucker equipped guitars and it opened my eyes (and ears!) when I got my first AL.

Yup - the AL necks are sublime, the guitar is great to play and I totally agree with you when you say that the Axis neck is similar.

It's a Valveking. The cleans are okay. They don't have the chime that a Fender would, and I think the Classic series might be a little better at that portion. I really bought it for the fact that it's all-tube, and the gain stages sounded really good.
