Cos I got 3 balls... whahahaha...

Remember my 1st JP6? Then my white Silo?

Now I got this to join them. My very own 20th anniversary Silhouette Gorgeous guitar!!!

I almost walked away with a Japan 60 piece only emerald green Luke with gold hardware. But I didn't like the neck that much... The frets were too low. This Silo was still perfect...

Questions:
What are the pickups?
What else should I know about this guitar? Wood? (only 1 piece maple neck, and mahogany body with maple top ya?)
What's this finish called?

Nice score there! Its a caramel burst if I'm not wrong... No piezo this time?:D

couldn't find one...:( I wanted a RW with piezo... no such luck... it was either this one, or another maple hardtail with a very faint quilt top. These were the only 2 pieces I could find in ALL the shops in tokyo I went to...:(

It has the tone block too...

Here's the cute bit. Isn't the whole body supposed to be mahogany? and yet, I saw the guitar going through the x-ray at the airport, and saw a distinctly different coloured chunk at the tail which could only be a tone block. So, if that's the tone block, then what's the rest of the body made of?

nice, do people realize how rare these are?

Actually, how rare ARE they? I think I'm probably the only joker in my country to have one, but Japan had tons! There were like 6 to 8 of them in one store in august. When I went back last week, there were only 2 left! if you project that trend backwards, they probably had like 30 to 40 pieces in one year.

Did you manage to move many?

does that help? Dunno if the 20th has a 3-way or 5-way switch..

Thanks. I saw that one already. But that's a Silo HH. Not a silo 20th. the 3 way is different. And I dunno whether the middle is as such, since it actually sounds thinner, and a bit softer than the 2 individual pups.
