Guiter-wise, anyway!

I played EB's for years, owning pretty much all of the signature models at one time or another. Finances and changing taste left me with none.

But after playing a bunch at my friends store and at NAMM in January, I remembered why I liked them so much to begin with. So I ordered a pair of Steve Morse models.

The first one finally arrived yesterday...and it's a beauty! I got to fully put it through it's paces last night.

It's nice to be back...this guitar rocks!

(I did pick up a new Stingray a few months ago, that also kills....)

hard to tell color. Blue or black?
Also, pickguard?

Carbon Blue Pearl, with the black pearl pickguard.

It still has the plastic on it, so it looks a little muted.

I have a phobia about pulling the plastic off a new guitar (seriously, I've been that way for years!)

I like to play the guitar until the plastic starts to come off, then I'll remove the entire thing.

Should take about another 5 hours or so, the way I'm goin' :D

Do you happen to have you sofa and chairs covered in plastic? ;)

Nice Morse!
What colour did you order for the second?

HAHA! Furniture doesn't count!
;)

The second one is a Purple Sunrise Quilted Deluxe.

My dealer has one coming with a Floyd, and one hardtail-I'll decide which one to grab when they arrive.

Ok...at the risk of sounding like a total dork, I'm the same way. But a word of warning - don't wait too long. If the edges start coming up and it starts to wear, or scratch, when you remove the rest, you'll have a nice noticable line.
