However I feel like I'm on the outside looking in

You have one of the best 5ers out there... just enjoy it as much as you can. Maybe record something with it and share that. Shoot some great pics, and make us all envy your only one!

Chasing them and waiting is all part of the fun!
If you had everything on your wish list then what next ?

I sort of feel that way after getting my Big Al 5 single H...I'm sure I'll have G.A.S. again, though.

It is fun to buy a new bass for sure! I was so excited last year to be able to order my first Bongo. I have three balls and I actually struggle to decide which one to play. I know I am very lucky to be able to have more then I need.

Here's a hint: Re string your EBMM and give her a good cleaning. You will be reminded of how great your bass is and appreciate her that much more when she's all cleaned up with fresh strings. Works for me. ;)

Thanks you guys...you've really put things In perspective. BP if you want to close this thread I understand. I DO have one of the best balls around.

Wazoo you got me Hss Hehe.

I don't think ownership of several MM instruments makes a difference; I'm sure the simple love of the brand is all that matters on this forum. I only own 2, and that's a stretch since I don't have a great financial situation either.

Awesome comment, it's not the amount of Music Mans one has, it's the fact that you may even own one that is a Compliment to the Ernie Ball Family, and just the fact you know you own the best Built Bass on the Market. So enjoy and Love the one or ones you have.

I did this just a couple of days ago. It made me realize what a great bass I have all over again. A BIG +1
